A stunning and easy-to-assemble charcuterie board shaped like a Christmas wreath, perfect for holiday parties. Made with fresh rosemary, cheeses, cured meats, fruits, and nuts, it comes together in under 20 minutes and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6–8 large fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 8 ounces Brie or Camembert, cut into wedges or left whole
  • 6 ounces aged cheddar, sliced or cubed
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log, sliced into rounds
  • 4 ounces Manchego, cut into thin triangles
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Genoa salami, sliced
  • 4 ounces soppressata, sliced
  • 1 cup red grapes, washed and separated into small clusters
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • 4–5 fresh figs, quartered (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 box water crackers or rosemary-flavored crackers
  • ½ large baguette, sliced into thin rounds and lightly toasted
  • ½ cup almonds or pecans, toasted
  • Honey, for drizzling (optional)
  • ½ cup Castelvetrano or Kalamata olives

Instructions

  1. Place your large round board on a clean, flat surface. If using a wooden board, lightly rub it with a cut lemon to prevent odors.
  2. Arrange fresh rosemary sprigs in a large circle around the outer edge of the board, overlapping stems to form a continuous ring. Trim stray stems with kitchen scissors.
  3. Position small bowls for honey, olives, and pomegranate seeds in the center of the board.
  4. Place cheeses around the wreath: brie at 12 o’clock, cheddar cubes at 3 o’clock, goat cheese rounds at 6 o’clock, and manchego triangles at 9 o’clock.
  5. Fold prosciutto into loose ribbons and place near brie. Fold salami slices in half twice to create small triangles and stack near cheddar. Fan out soppressata slices near goat cheese.
  6. Tuck small clusters of red grapes into gaps between cheeses and meats. Scatter dried apricots and fig quarters around the board. Sprinkle cranberries and pomegranate seeds over the rosemary base.
  7. Fan out crackers and baguette slices in small groups around the outer edge of the board, just inside the rosemary ring. Place toasted nuts in small piles.
  8. Drizzle honey over brie or goat cheese if desired. Tuck extra small rosemary sprigs into gaps. Place cheese knives next to each cheese. Fill any bare spots with extra grapes or nuts.

Notes

Take cheeses out of fridge 30 minutes before assembling for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board; leave breathing room. The rosemary not only looks festive but also subtly scents the cheese and meat. This board is a template—customize with your favorite ingredients. For a vegetarian version, skip the meats and double the cheese. For gluten-free, use gluten-free crackers or rice cakes.
