These turkey meatball sliders are quick, crowd-friendly, and perfect for Friendsgiving or any cozy gathering. Juicy turkey meatballs, melty provolone, and tangy cranberry sauce come together on buttery toasted buns in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup (60g) panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 slider buns (brioche-style recommended)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven’s broiler and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 12 evenly sized meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter). Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned all over.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. While meatballs cook, split slider buns in half and place cut-side up on the baking sheet. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush onto the cut sides.
  7. Toast buns under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until golden and slightly crispy. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  8. Assemble sliders: Place bottom halves of toasted buns on a serving platter. Top each with a meatball, a half-slice of provolone, and a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Place top buns on each slider.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender. Use a cookie scoop for even meatballs. Watch the broiler closely to avoid burning the buns. Warm the cranberry sauce before assembling for best results. For make-ahead, cook meatballs up to 2 days in advance and reheat before assembling.
