A quick and easy Halloween snack board featuring a mix of salty and sweet ingredients arranged to look like a graveyard. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or any gathering where you want a fun, no-fuss treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups popped popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup pretzel twists
  • 1 cup roasted, salted peanuts
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup candy pumpkins
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup black licorice strings (cut into small pieces)
  • 2–3 graveyard-shaped cookies (e.g., Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies cut into tombstone shapes or store-bought Halloween cookies)
  • 1/4 cup gummy worms
  • 1–2 tablespoons black sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Place your wooden board or platter on a flat surface. Arrange small bowls on the board for loose ingredients like candy corn, chocolate chips, and gummy worms.
  2. Scatter the popped popcorn evenly across the board, leaving space around the bowls. The popcorn acts as the ‘ground’ of the graveyard.
  3. Stick the pretzel sticks upright into the popcorn, spacing them out like little gravestones. Lean some slightly for an ‘abandoned graveyard’ look.
  4. Scatter the pretzel twists around the board, filling in the gaps.
  5. Sprinkle the peanuts over the popcorn and pretzels.
  6. Fill the center bowl with candy corn. Scatter the candy pumpkins around the board, tucking some near the pretzel sticks.
  7. Fill one small bowl with dark chocolate chips and another with white chocolate chips. Place them on opposite sides of the board.
  8. Place the graveyard-shaped cookies near the pretzel sticks. Sprinkle the black licorice pieces and gummy worms around the board, tucking some under the popcorn. If using black sesame seeds, sprinkle them lightly over the popcorn.
  9. Tuck a few fresh rosemary sprigs into the popcorn around the board.
  10. Serve immediately with small spoons or tongs.

Notes

For best results, use plain or lightly salted popcorn to avoid greasiness. If pretzel sticks keep falling over, press them deeper into the popcorn. The board is best assembled right before serving to maintain crunch. Leftovers can be stored separately in airtight containers; popcorn stays fresh for about 2 days, pretzels for up to a week.
