Cozy Pumpkin Patch Fruit Tray with Clementines - featured image

A quick and easy fall fruit tray shaped like a pumpkin patch, featuring cantaloupe pumpkins, clementines, and a creamy honey-cinnamon dip. Perfect for potlucks, parties, or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5–6 medium clementines
  • 1 medium cantaloupe
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 apple (any variety, such as Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for apple slices)
  • Small handful fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Make the cream cheese dip: In a small mixing bowl, combine 8 oz softened cream cheese, 3 tablespoons honey, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Add 1 tablespoon of milk and beat again. If too thick, add another tablespoon. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the clementines: Peel 5-6 clementines and separate into individual segments, removing as much white pith as possible. Set aside.
  3. Cut the cantaloupe: Slice the cantaloupe in half and scoop out seeds. Cut each half into 1/2-inch thick half-moons. Use a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter to press out pumpkin shapes. Repeat until you have 15-20 shapes.
  4. Prep remaining fruit: Wash and dry green grapes and blackberries. Slice apple into thin wedges and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning. Rinse and pat dry mint leaves if using.
  5. Assemble the tray: Place the serving platter on the counter. Set the bowl of cream cheese dip in the center. Arrange cantaloupe pumpkins in a loose circle around the dip bowl, spacing them about an inch apart.
  6. Add the ‘vines’: Lay green grapes in gentle curves connecting the pumpkins, letting some cluster naturally.
  7. Fill in with clementines and berries: Tuck clementine segments between the pumpkins, slightly overlapping. Scatter blackberries in small groups of 2-3. Arrange apple slices around the edges, fanning them out slightly.
  8. Finish with mint: Tuck small mint leaves here and there, especially near the dip bowl and around the pumpkins.

Notes

Soften cream cheese properly to avoid lumps. Use a sharp cookie cutter for clean cuts. Arrange fruit organically, not symmetrically. Store components separately; assemble day of serving. Dip can be made a day ahead.
