A quick and creamy peanut butter smoothie bowl made with frozen bananas, peanut butter, and Greek yogurt. Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s perfect for busy mornings or a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • For toppings: granola, sliced banana or berries, extra peanut butter drizzle, chia seeds or hemp hearts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take 2 medium frozen bananas out of the freezer. If stuck together, let sit for a minute or two.
  2. In a blender, combine frozen banana slices, peanut butter, milk, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt. Add honey or maple syrup if using.
  3. Blend on low speed to break up bananas, then increase to high. Blend for 30-45 seconds, scraping down sides as needed, until thick and creamy (like soft-serve ice cream).
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor as desired.
  5. Pour into a wide, shallow bowl using a rubber spatula.
  6. Add desired toppings: granola, sliced banana or berries, extra peanut butter drizzle, chia seeds or hemp hearts.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe, spotty bananas for best sweetness. Do not add ice to keep texture creamy. Layer ingredients in blender: liquid first, then yogurt, peanut butter, frozen bananas. Scrape down sides during blending. Do not over-blend. Prep toppings before blending to prevent melting.
