A quick and easy air fryer snack mix with pretzels, nuts, cheese crackers, and a savory buttery seasoning, perfect for game day or any gathering. Ready in under 15 minutes with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (roasted peanuts, cashews, almonds, or a mix)
  • 1 cup cheese crackers (cheddar goldfish or square cheese crackers)
  • 1 cup rice or corn cereal (Chex or Crispix)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (if using), and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Whisk until well combined.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups mini pretzels, 1 cup mixed nuts, 1 cup cheese crackers, and 1 cup rice or corn cereal. Toss to distribute evenly.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients. Use a rubber spatula to scrape every drop, then toss everything together until every piece is coated.
  5. Transfer the coated mix to the air fryer basket in an even layer. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  6. Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes. Remove the basket, shake well, and stir to flip the mix.
  7. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning. The mix should be deep golden brown.
  8. Remove the basket and let the snack mix cool completely in the basket or on a baking sheet for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy mix, after the first 5 minutes, reduce temperature to 325°F and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, shaking every 2 minutes. Let the mix cool completely for maximum crunch. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Do not refrigerate. To reheat, spread on a baking sheet and warm at 300°F for 5 minutes or air fry at 325°F for 2-3 minutes.
