This easy candy corn popcorn bark combines crunchy popcorn, salty pretzels, chewy candy corn, and creamy white chocolate for a sweet and salty fall snack that comes together in just 20 minutes. Perfect for movie nights, parties, or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn (about 1/3 cup unpopped kernels or one standard bag of microwave popcorn)
  • 1 ½ cups pretzel twists, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup candy corn (or autumn mix with pumpkins)
  • 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers (such as Ghirardelli or Wilton)
  • ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt (such as Maldon)
  • ½ cup roasted salted peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a large rimmed baking sheet (13×18 inches) with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Pop the popcorn using your preferred method. Let it cool for 2-3 minutes (or spread on a baking sheet to cool faster).
  3. While popcorn cools, break pretzel twists into bite-sized pieces. Measure out candy corn and peanuts if using.
  4. Place white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring between each, until smooth (about 2-3 intervals).
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled popcorn, broken pretzels, and candy corn. Pour melted white chocolate over the top and gently fold until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer about ½ to ¾ inch thick. Press down gently with a spatula or lightly greased hands.
  7. While chocolate is still wet, sprinkle flaky sea salt evenly over the top. Optionally press a few extra candy corn pieces and pretzel bits into the top for decoration.
  8. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until chocolate is completely firm and set (or freeze for 10-15 minutes).
  9. Once set, lift parchment paper out of the baking sheet. Break bark into irregular pieces with your hands. Serve at room temperature.

Notes

Make sure popcorn is completely cool before adding chocolate to prevent a sticky mess. Melt white chocolate at 50% power to avoid scorching. Work quickly once chocolate is melted. Do not refrigerate after setting to maintain crunch. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
