A simple, beautiful arrangement of creamy brie, ripe grapes, and a few surprising extras that feels like a celebration. Perfect for date nights, anniversaries, or a cozy evening with a close friend.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small wheel of brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • Optional: A small wedge of aged cheddar or gouda
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes
  • 1 cup green seedless grapes
  • Optional: A handful of fresh figs or dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup crispy crackers (water crackers, rosemary crackers, or seeded crackers)
  • Optional: Thinly sliced baguette
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme

Instructions

  1. Remove the brie from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving to bring to room temperature.
  2. Place the brie wheel in the center or slightly off-center of a wooden cutting board or serving platter.
  3. Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of honey over the top of the brie. Optionally, add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
  4. Snip the grapes into small clusters of 3-4 grapes each using kitchen shears. Arrange them around the brie in little bunches, alternating red and green.
  5. Scatter the mixed nuts in the gaps between the grapes and cheese.
  6. Fan out the crackers in a neat row or two along one edge of the board.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic glaze in a zigzag pattern over the grapes and around the board.
  8. Tuck in a few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish. Place small bowls of extra honey and balsamic glaze nearby if desired.

Notes

Let brie come to room temperature for best flavor. Arrange ingredients in clusters for visual appeal. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free crackers or cucumber slices. For a vegan version, use plant-based brie and maple syrup instead of honey.
