These no-bake protein balls combine dark chocolate and peanut butter for a quick, nutritious, and tasty energy boost. Perfect for busy days, they require no oven time and come together in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • ½ cup (125g) natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup (45g) dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cocoa)
  • ½ cup (45g) vanilla whey protein powder
  • 3 tablespoons (60ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: rolled oats, peanut butter, dark chocolate chips, protein powder, honey, chia seeds (optional), and sea salt.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and sea salt. Stir gently to distribute evenly.
  3. Add peanut butter and honey to the dry mix. Fold together with a spatula or spoon until sticky and thick. If too dry, add a teaspoon of honey or splash of water.
  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips gently so they are scattered but not melted.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to firm up.
  6. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon (15g) portions and roll between palms to form bite-sized balls.
  7. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone mat and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.

Notes

Use natural peanut butter with oil separation for better binding. Chill mixture before rolling to prevent stickiness. Store in airtight container in fridge or freeze for longer storage. Optional add-ins include chopped nuts, cinnamon, espresso powder, or dried fruit.
